Methodology
& Evidence
Standard

CryptoIA (cryptoia.ai) is an analysis-only crypto intelligence site. We have no token. Our research is not financial advice.

What a dossier is

Each project dossier has up to 13 research sections, plus market data. The sections cover:

  • Overview
  • Technology
  • Tokenomics
  • Governance
  • Security
  • Ecosystem
  • Regulatory
  • Value proposition
  • Comparative
  • Technical details
  • Economics
  • Community
  • Roadmap

Evidence standard

Researched claims carry a source chip linking to where they came from. Some older fields were imported before this standard and do not have a chip yet; we are re-sourcing them section by section. We prefer primary sources: official documentation, whitepapers, GitHub repositories, block explorers, audit reports, regulator filings and issuer attestations.

Aggregators such as CoinGecko and DefiLlama are used only for market and supply figures, and are named as the source.

Live figures carry an observed <UTC timestamp> label so you can see when the data was checked.

What the dash means

A dash (—) or an empty field is an evidence gap. It is not a zero and not a negative judgement. We leave fields blank rather than guess.

Derived numbers are labeled as CryptoIA derivations, with the inputs shown.

What we do not do

We do not accept paid placement or paid ratings. We do not invent metrics, audits, partners, investors or legal status.

We distinguish scheduled issuance from circulating supply, payout addresses from independent miners, and announcements from shipped features.

If we ever offer commissioned research, it will be labeled commissioned. Its conclusions will remain independent.

Mining Nodes radar

The Mining Nodes radar tracks new proof-of-work and proof-of-useful-work networks. Status describes the evidence available about a network:

ACTIVE
Live chain, mineable.
PRE-MAINNET
Testnet or launching.
WATCH
Unverified or awaiting evidence.
ARCHIVE
Dead, stale or rejected.

NOVEL ALGO means a source-verified distinctive hashing or useful-work algorithm.

Priority tiers

P1
Novel algorithm and live.
P2
Novel algorithm and pre-mainnet.
P3
Novel but unverified, or any network with a dated launch within the next 14 days.

These tiers set research priority. They are not profitability calls.

Corrections

Dossiers are revised as evidence changes. Each research update is backed up before it is written and logged by section in the public change log, and on each dossier under Revisions.

Report errors to corrections@cryptoia.ai. Include the page, the claim and any source that supports the correction.

Data & API

The same data is available through the CryptoIA API. See the developer documentation for access and usage.
